Specialist Brain Injury Care Home Welcomes First Residents and Opens Doors to Local Community

Warnham Lodge has welcomed its first residents and opened its doors to professionals and members of the local community at a special open afternoon in West Sussex.

Warnham Lodge, located near Warnham and Horsham, has been developed by Splendid Care Group to provide high-quality, personalised support for individuals with complex neurological needs.

The home can accommodate up to 10 residents in a luxurious and therapeutic setting and to mark the opening, Warnham Lodge hosted an open day, giving healthcare professionals, commissioners, local stakeholders and community representatives the opportunity to tour the facilities, meet the team and learn more about the specialist support available.

Among those attending was Horsham District Councillor Tony Bevis, who joined visitors in celebrating the launch of the new service. He said: “This home is a welcome addition to the specialist services on offer in the West Sussex area. Its facilities are really impressive and I know it will be a much valued resource for our local community.”

The service has been designed to support people living with a wide range of conditions, including acquired and traumatic brain injury, stroke-related brain injuries, hypoxic or anoxic brain injuries, cognitive impairments, behavioural and emotional changes, physical disabilities and complex nursing needs.

Set within the rolling West Sussex countryside, Warnham Lodge combines clinical excellence with a luxury living environment. Each individually designed bedroom has its own private terrace, many offering stunning views. There are also beautifully designed communal lounges and dining spaces, creating a welcoming and homely atmosphere.

Warnham Lodge offers access to specialist rehabilitation facilities, including a dedicated physiotherapy team, a hydrotherapy pool and an internal spa pool to support recovery, wellbeing and relaxation. There is a sector-leading wellness programme and a focus on enhancing a person’s experience in everything from dining to how they spend their days.

Antony Hall, Managing Director at Splendid Care Group, said: “We are incredibly proud to have welcomed our first residents to Warnham Lodge and to see the service become a reality. The positive response from professionals, local stakeholders and community visitors was fantastic and reinforces the need for specialist neurological services like this in West Sussex.
